IT’S BEEN 5 YEARS ALREADY!

It has been 5 years since Tim left Nancy waddling in his dust in the parking lot of the hospital. The problem? Well, she was ready to give birth to our child. I was very nervous just like any other husband would be. Nancy, on the other hand, was ready to get this process started. Tim thought that with his haste, he could speed up the process. The other thing on his mind? Making sure that there were not going to be any male nurses. SERIOUSLY no dudes! As fast as those nurses could type was as fast as we were in a room and Nancy promised that just like the first two, the labor would be fast. Tim was hoping so. As promised, baby Muller arrived REAL fast.

She was ready for the world. We named her Sarah. [Princess in Hebrew] The perfect name because in these past 5 years, she has proven to be nothing less than a Princess.  Her family loves her so very much. She brings them all such joy and laughter. She has her own personal sense of style and doesn’t care if you like it or not [That includes Mom and Dad]. She loves Jesus like He was a Jonas brother. And she also loves Joe Jonas like he is a Jonas Brother. [Joe better read the "Oh little Boys" post"] Nancy and I are very sad that she, like our other kids, is getting older. We are so very excited to see what God and Sarah have in store for us. We love her!

Tim's new gun.
You know I [Tim] often think about what it is going to be like when I am a father of a young woman. A young woman who is being pursued by YOUNG men or what I like to say boys. Recently we have had a couple of boy’s names mentioned here in the the Muller house and I find myself squirming in my chair. My baby girl. A pet name for Ashlea I have had since I met her. Is growing and has grown into a beautiful young lady and is well on her way to being a woman. I think of what I was thinking about when I was thinking about girls like Ashlea. All I know is that if I act on my thoughts about these few young gentlemen mentioned that I would then become the prey. In prison…… I am now shopping for the perfect nunnery for two girls. I think they can be a good fit.

The problem is finding a two great men to love and nurture my daughters better than I can. Nancy and I are starting the process of praying for those men right now, so that when they begin to start dating, Dad’s patience and gun will be holstered. Nancy is already trying to prepare herself for my reaction. She has too many stories already about me and being over protective with both our girls. But the good thing is. I will have quite a few years of practice and preparation for this inevitable process. But until then, the gun polish and target practice is just as useful.

A Few Memories.

Where were we?

young

We have a lot of catching up to do.

Like for starters, our son is now a TEEN! With size 13 shoes. That is a lot of leather. We are now checking if Shaq has a “hand me down” program. He’s also  on his way to being a heart breaker. He’s already got a couple under his belt. Not one of Mom and Dad’s favorite things right now. He text’s his friends like he were a court reporter. Oh my GOSH!

I think the last time we posted it was last Christmas [2008] and Josh was the one that posted our website. He was gaining some more experience for his want to follow in his dad’s footsteps with web design. His experience  has taken him to Washington D.C. twice for National History Day. We are so proud of him and his hard work. Last year, [seventh grade] he did not place, but had a great time once again visiting our Nation’s Capital. That was at the beginning of the Summer. We had a wonderful Summer time swimming, hiking and geocaching. We visited friends in Arizona and Grandma & Grandpa in Denver. Great trips! While in Denver, we had an opportunity to drive a little further to Fort Collins, CO where Nancy got a chance to visit her Alma mater. She was as excited as, well, a school girl. It was a great trip. Tim was also pleased to visit his dear friend Eric.

Then school started. UGH! Josh is really settling into the teenage thing. He wasn’t as excited to return as years past. The girls were stoked on the other hand! Ashlea started 5th grade and finally, as she puts it, was able to be upstairs for her classes at the school. Sarah started Pre-K this year and was beside herself on returning. Josh’s attitude has since changed with the start of the year. As all of his friends have matured. Keep in mind that’s a TEEN talking.

Ashlea still strives to be the next Mia Hamm in soccer and we think personally that she is well on her way. She’s great at it. And Sarah, where to begin. The kid is always learning, trying to read and be a fashionista. But we love them all and are looking forward to many more stories to tell.

Well we think this is a good start at getting back. But we can’t wait give you a little more.

Our Final Update!

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Hey family and friends! We have had quite a year. Or two. We have been looking for something for our site that we can update all the time and keep you all up to date with us and all of our goings on. We are going to start trying to have more updates and posts for you all to keep up with us. Sorry for the delay and the time in between all of our posts. We are trying to be better about it with all of our family and friends that live outside New Mexico. Love you all!
