Spring Break…what a well needed break it was. Nothing exciting. Low key and hanging out but just what the Mullers needed. School requirements for all the kids stepped up a notch this year and they were ready for the break. This time of year for Nancy is always a nightmare. Spring Break is just one step closer to summer break! Tim finds it harder to get out the door when we all are on break…which we all enjoy. Ashlea did her usual thing…soccer. Josh…basketball. Sarah…dancing and singing. Josh also had a wonderful opportunity to speak with two experts in the field of Cartography. It was a good learning curve in preparing his web site for the state competition. Spring is always a fun time for the family. Tim usually plays softball which is a great time for fellowship and fun. Tim and Joshua will go on the mission trip in a couple of weeks which will be an awesome experience to spread the Word and the love of Christ. Joshua is preparing for STATE History Day and his eighth grade graduation. What a change it will be for all of us!! Here we go…count down to summer…let’s all finish STRONG.

Spring Break 2010

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010This image haunts Tim every day. This is what fourteen brings! CRAZY!
Officially a TEEN! No longer a pre-teen or 13 year old wanna be. Before his birthday and especially now after it, for some reason, he has been asking to drive lately. He can’t wait for High School to start. He is the B.M.O.C. [Big Man On Campus] and thinks that he is at the house. The testosterone level in Nancy’s house right now is unreal. Tim and Josh wrestle almost every night of the week. Then after the house is torn up, they blame each other for the mess. Really it’s Josh’s fault! We now have a TEEN in our house! AAAAHHHHHH! This year for his birthday he wanted some friends to come stay the night for a boy [I mean guy] fest. The Plan; fill each kid with energy drinks, pizza and video games. Tim put on a brave face [begged for mercy] and took all the boys to his brother Ed’s house where they were welcomed by three video game machines, along with three separate televisions. To some it might sound like the worst night ever, but to them it was paradise for that one night. They played and ate till 5:30 am the next morning. Tim said that’s when the first boy finally fell asleep and thankfully the others soon followed. According to Josh though, it was the time of their lives! Tim kindly disagrees. It took Josh and Tim two days to recover! Ugh! Leading up to this birthday we have thought often of our little Bubba. That little blond walking around ruling the roost and playing with everything that his room had to offer, while watching his favorite cartoons. He was the older brother who would run the show, telling us what time bed time was, the rules or just flat out telling his sisters what to do. We miss that little guy all to often. He needed us then. Even if it was just for homework, to get toys down or help him put something together. It sometimes frustrates us to see that pass, but now it is a new season, and the bible says that there is a Season for everything. He has grown into a wonderful young man and we guess it’s that Season. We can’t wait for what this Season has for us, but we look forward to it with great anticipation. Even if it has a little testosterone sprinkled on it.
Love you BUBS!
